It was an absolutely amazing trip as evidenced by the photos. It had a little bit of sun, rain, wind, and rainbows for the weather on top of stunningly beautiful views everywhere! Jamie was a great person to ride with and I was so appreciative of having a knowledgeable guide through the mountains.
I have told many people about the amazing trip I had and the great experience I had with Go-Where. Definitely suggesting to many of my biking friends to reach out to your company if they find themselves in Scotland. Thanks again for all of the effort you put in to make sure my day trip riding was as amazing it turned out to be!

P.S. The rest of the honeymoon was fantastic as well seeing the gorgeous sights and sampling some fine whiskeys. I am already missing the gorgeous rolling hills of Scotland.

Exceptionally well organised and executed. Even the weather was perfect. Massive, technical, loose, isolated . Endless smiles, patient, calm, safe. Our guide was a true expert in this field. Just great. We will be back!

Could not have asked for a better trip. Trails and landscape were breathtaking, but the guides made the trip! They were kind, fun, knowledgeable and very patient. Great group of guests – wonderful friendships made. A trip to remember!

The riding was absolutely spot on! From buffed out flowy stuff, to some really fun technical trails in Innerleithen, my guide even let me get a taste of some pretty spicy trails that were used in the EWS when Glentress hosted a race. I even got to take a peep at some terrain, that for this trip, was beyond my capabilities. However this has only motivated me to get fitter and improve my skills for my next trip. Yes, I’m coming back! You exceeded every expectation I had. Getting to meet Paul, Shauna & Aneela for dinner & a pint was a real treat. Again, I felt like I was hanging out with old friends.

You all made me feel so welcome in your homeland. As a person who tends to be very shy and stand offish, this mean more to me than you could imagine. Thank you for the amazing experience. I’m already planning my return! Sláinte’!
 

Go-Where Scotland should 100% be your go-to for all mountain bike experiences in Scotland. They’re a very experienced bunch that know exactly what a rider is looking for in a bike trip, and they work very hard to make the whole experience seamless and memorable. Every person I came into contact with was really great and genuinely nice and caring.Now if only Go-Where would also operate outside of Scotland…

I put my trust in Andy to make a special birthday trip for myself back home to ride with 4 of my riding buddies from MA a truly epic experience. They didn’t fail to deliver creating a Custom Big Mountain Safari that took on board all my personal requests and made it even better than I could have imagined.

Transport, accommodation, knowledge, experience and fun factor were all faultless.

Excellent!!! All of your preparedness, coordination, and guiding expertise exceeded our wildest expectations! Our guides ability to gauge our desires, abilities, and fortitude at every step of our custom tailored holiday. The choice of eateries…. the food was incredible, the hospitality inviting. The quality, friendliness and flexibility of our host accommodations. Expecting Scotland to be beautiful; the remote vistas were stunning. How did you plan all of those rainbows and waterfalls!
 

I had an amazing time. One of the best trips I’ve ever been on.
Coming from rural northern canada I had the misconception that scotland wouldn’t have much rugged, wilderness compared to canada. I was wrong! Scotland is beautiful and there is so much to explore. We could not have done it without our guides andy and huw. I was blown away by their knowledge of biking and the terrain. They also made us feel very welcome and comfortable with lots of laughs and stories on the trail and over delicious meals. It was an excellent way to explore scotland. I’ll be back!

As a Canadian girl coming from Vancouver having only ever ridden trails on the north shore, Squamish and whistler you guys blew my socks off. I would have to say this was one of the best weekends of my life and I’ve been a tad sad since it ended. From the scenery, to the riding, to the hospitality, to the organization, to the food, to the company and the laughter there was not one area that would need any sort of improvement. And I can hardly wait to come back. If it wasn’t for our guide I don’t think the experience would have been the same. He was informative and we always knew what was coming at us around the corner, what to look at and the history of where we were riding. He never put us in jeopardy and made sure we all started and finished the rides with a smile on our faces. I think it is obvious from above that this trip was exactly as it was promised. I would rate this trip as a ‘if you don’t get yourself over here and ride it you are seriously missing out’ rating. So, what does that equate too? 10/10?
 

Really well organised from initial booking to the end of the trip. Every detail covered. Very warm welcome from Andy and his lovely wife Aneela who joined us for a couple of days. The guiding throughout the week was second to none. Our guide must have a GPS in his head as we were following routes that seemed non-existent in places, then out springs the most awesome trails.
Our aim was to explore the natural riding trails in the Caringorms. All expectations were exceeded. The diversity of the terrain and rides, not to mention the most beautiful landscapes and scenery. You can travel the world and not witness scenery that’s so dramatic and awe inspiring as the Scottish Higlands. Photos don’t do it justice. Epic. We were completely shattered by the end of it. But we even rode on our day off as we couldn’t get enough. Every day was different. The grin factor was extremely high. We were referred to Go-Where by a friend who described their knowledge of the Highlands as impressive. We were not disappointed – the guiding was excellent. Very attentive, aware of the surroundings and environment. Always had a contingency plan of trails if the weather changed. But most importantly, we felt safe – Andy would never take unnecessary risks, and there were places where you could get really lost without an expert guide.

Just wish we could do it all again. We’ll start saving for another trip in a few months. Many, many thanks for such a memorable trip from us both.
 

Excellent, as expected. Perfect logistics, perfect route planning, perfect accommodation. Really ignited my excitement of wilderness riding – the isolation and lack of any people at all. Awesome. really technical in places, one of the most epic descents I have ever ridden in scotland. A better definition of “this will be a punchy climb” should be given….all I can think of is when am I going to go back and do it again. And some of the puchy climbs were actually more enjoyable than I thought they would be. 10/10 (food especially was fantastic).
 

You do not get better than this! The biking is epic – just truly brilliant trails with unbeatable local knowledge to get you out into the best that Scotland has to offer. Combine that with the irreverent banter, humour, care and warmth that come as part of the package and you have a completely winning combination. There’s not a single thing I’d change – I recommend them in a heartbeat!
 

Amazing week which exceeded our expectations – we were amazed at the quality of the single track. It was more ‘alpine’ than many alps trails we have ridden. The feeling of ‘getting away from it all’ and really going on a big adventure – taking bikes where it felt they have never been bikes before!
Having the opportunity to see some amazing wildlife – some of which we’d never seen before (2 ptarmigan, mountain hare, owl in the mountains) – beyond expectations, helped by the weather & Andy’s ability to read the forecast & pick the right routes in the right days based upon weather predictions. The hike – a – bikes were an essential part of the adventure & added to the experience. The group size was perfect, any more may have felt invasive on some of the rides. Felt like a group of friends riding together, not a guided holiday.

Perfect guiding, checking that everyone in the group was happy and keeping the pace. Taking breaks at just the right time to recover after a climb or to get some food in before a tougher section. Always there with a good story or some background to what we were riding through. 6 out of 5, couldn’t be better! Saving now for the next trip. Our guide’s positivity and energy really got all of us smitten. Just didn’t think I guide could get to be one of my homies that quickly. Keep up the good work – you sure have made us ambassadors for Scottish mtbiking too!

First class! What a fantastic weekend, just didn’t want it to end.
Even the not so kind weather could not put a dampener on things. Great bunch of people, excellent guide, great food, great trails and fine craft beer, what more can you ask for! I had no idea as to what to expect, loved every minute of it and was sad to leave on Sunday.

Go-Where Scotland are the go-to for mountain bike trips in Scotland. Having followed them on social media for over a year, seeing the incredible locations they take their guests to and reading their customer reviews I committed to a weekend trip in Royal Deeside – the Mountain Royale tour.
Their knowledge of mountain biking and trails across Scotland is mind-blowing, it felt like they knew every trail, path and track everywhere we went and I have no doubt it’s the same on all of their trips. All the guests had a voice as to where we went and what we rode each day and i think everyone was delighted with what we rode – no mean feat with six keen riders and six big personalties even when the weather didn’t play ball on the second day. Andy and the guides, Huw and Aneela, were super friendly, entertaining and competent with a balanced focus on enjoyment and safety. It was quickly apparent we were getting to experience the best of the local area each day depending on the weather and what the group were up for. I can’t recommend Go-Where highly enough, if you’re at all interested in their trips go for it, they won’t disappoint.
 

Absolutely superb! Loved every single moment of the trip….10 out of 10 and can’t wait to do the next one! The diversity of amazing riding. Each trail had its own feel. The high level of organisation. The feeling of being on a real adventure. The riding was tailored perfectly for the group. Challenging at times, but always enjoyable. I very much loved the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere in exposed locations, but while also knowing that I was with a guide that knew the land and what he was doing! Our guide made everyone feel welcome, and brought us all together as a group, and no one was ever left out.. He also did an amazing job of making the whole trip feel seamless. His knowledge of the area’s we rode was also extremely impressive, and his passion for riding was infectious. Fantastic!

Some bloody mountain bike holiday! Can not recommend the-thing-that-these-guys-have-going-on enough. Serious riding and serious fun and Charley and Davy – I mean come on! What easy going, safe AF guides to show us the way.
