Scotland is known for its wild nature, green hills, highland cows, lots of sheep, thistles, ancient caledonian pine trees, blooming heather and cosy bothies. But what makes it so special for mountain bikers? Well, the endless number of trails provide lots of opportunities for epic riding. Thus, the vast and beautiful landscape can be easily explored by bike. And that’s just one of the reasons I had Scotland on my bucket list for quite some time already.
